Hi, I’m Paige — a psychology-based dog trainer in Conesus, NY, passionate about creating strong, healthy relationships between dogs and their owners through clear communication and practical training methods. I began my dog training journey in 2021 through a purely positive online program, but real‑world experience quickly showed me that dogs thrive with more than treats alone. I discovered that a psychology‑driven, balanced approach—one that blends structure, clear communication, and positive reinforcement helps dogs learn more confidently and consistently. I’ve continued expanding my education across multiple training styles to better serve dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavior levels. I gained hands‑on experience working with a wide variety of dogs and coaching their owners. I’ve served as the Head Trainer at Petco and worked at a reputable dog boarding facility in Bloomfield, NY. Although I have already done a dog psychology course, I’m currently advancing my skills through the Learn to Lead Academy with renowned dog behaviorist Cheri Wulff Lucas.
I believe in leadership, not dominance. Leadership means guiding your dog with a calm, confident mindset, especially in a world full of things they may find overwhelming or scary. Structured walks and place work help shift a dog’s emotional state, giving them clarity and stability. Leashes and crates are also essential tools when a dog cannot be supervised. I’ve seen far too many videos of dogs chewing batteries, wires, or other dangerous objects when left unattended. Situations like that can lead to house fires, severe injuries, or even the loss of a dog’s life. Being a leader means protecting your dog at all costs, and these tools allow you to do exactly that.

Always remember, your dog is a reflection of you.

Today, I offer private lessons in your home and Board & Train programs in my home, designed to help dogs learn in a real-world home environment — not a kennel setting. My goal is to give every dog and owner the confidence they need to succeed with the correct tools to maintain that progress long‑term.

My Approach
I specialize in psychology-based training that focuses on understanding each dog’s unique needs. My approach helps dogs develop lasting, positive behaviors by working at their individual pace. This ensures personalized attention and builds stronger communication between you and your dog.

Why Choose Private Lessons?
Every dog is unique, and I understand that group classes aren’t for everyone.

Private lessons provide a focused environment where we can address your dog’s specific needs and work on improving their behavior at their own pace. This method results in better communication and quicker progress.
